SUSTAINABILITY
Custom Eyewear for a Zero Waste Future
While researching the eyewear industry, King Children was alarmed by the amount of waste generated in the production process and supply chain. For each pair of acetate frames consumers buy, 14 pairs worth of plastic are thrown away, which doesn’t pave the way for a sustainable future.
We knew there had to be a better way. King Children eyewear is made to order and is custom fit, which enables us to deliver a high-quality product without producing any waste through our supply chain.
We decided to do even more. We estimated the environmental impact generated by the entire life cycle of our products and offset it by contributing to the creation and protection of growing forests in Madagascar with LifeGate's Zero Impact®️ project.

Our First Collection
Our first collection includes three classic designs with subtle refinement, all powered by our groundbreaking zero-waste technology platform. Each pair is crafted to our customers’ exact measurements on our iOS application.
TECHNOLOGY
Every Face is Different. So is Every Pair of King Children.
Our cutting edge face-mapping technology allows us to create a frame that is crafted to your exact measurements. It works by 3D scanning over 10,000 facial features, allowing us to create perfect frames that won’t fall, press or slip. Each pair of our frames are made to order, helping to build a zero waste future.
DESIGN
Our Head of Design Leslie Muller
Our in-house Head of Design is Leslie Muller, a veteran of the eyewear industry. She previously led the design efforts for an array of licensed and house brands at Marchon Eyewear including Nike, Calvin Klein, Michael Kors, Dragon Alliance and Columbia Sportswear. Leslie's team also led the design and development of the Nike Wing, a groundbreaking unibody lens worn by Olympic track and field athletes at the 2016 Olympics in Rio.
